Short films created by HeartCharged as we work towards authentic representation in films and TV of HCM and other congenital heart diseases, especially in regards to how they affect young people.

HCM is one of many invisible disabilities. But invisible should not equate with unknown.

If All We Did

Short film written and directed by Hannah Keime. Created for and accepted into the Disability Film Challenge.

Incorporates the story of a teen with HCM who is sidelined due to the limitations imposed by her condition. Conveys the story of friendship between two young women. Discusses what ableism means.

Great as a group discussion starter. What should a friendship with someone disabled look like? How should we treat someone with medical limitations, especially as those limitations grow?
